Belt Conveyor RFQ Checklist: Data to Send Before a Technical Quote
A capacity target is a useful start. A route profile and material data turn it into a conveyor system that can be calculated, priced, and checked.

Describe the material first
State the material name, bulk density, maximum lump size, normal grading, moisture, temperature, abrasiveness, stickiness, and any dust, fire, corrosion, or contamination concern. These values influence belt width, speed, cover, loading, cleaning, chute design, and enclosure.
Attach a route profile
Show the horizontal distance, total lift, gradients, transitions, loading points, discharge point, transfer coordinates, supports, access, and available space. Mark the planned drive and take-up locations if the site has already set them.
| Area | Data to provide |
|---|---|
| Material | Name, density, lump size, moisture, temperature, abrasiveness |
| Capacity | Normal, design peak, surge, operating hours, starts per hour |
| Route | Length, lift, incline, transitions, supports, clearances |
| Interfaces | Feed equipment, loading height, discharge chute, downstream equipment |
| Power/control | Voltage, frequency, phases, local or remote control, interlocks |
| Environment | Indoor/outdoor, dust, water, corrosion, ambient temperature |
Define the commercial and document boundary
List quantity, destination, trade term, target delivery, packing restrictions, required drawings, manuals, inspection records, spare parts, language, and any model-specific approval or certificate requirement.
